Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information

Last updated: 25 February 2026

Our Commitment to Privacy

We're a small Auckland-based team. We train New Zealand businesses in practical AI — that's our entire business. We collect the minimum information needed to do that well, we're transparent about what we share with third-party tools, and we don't sell your data or use it for anything you wouldn't expect.

This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and how you can control it. It applies to all visitors of aiinnovisory.com. We operate under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide Directly

When you contact us through our website forms or email, we collect:

  • Name and contact details (email, phone number)
  • Company name and role
  • Workshop enquiry details and preferences
  • Any other information you choose to provide

2. AI Maturity Benchmark Data

When you complete our AI Maturity Benchmark assessment:

  • Your benchmark history (responses, score, maturity level) is saved locally in your browser only — we never see it
  • An anonymous completion event is sent to PostHog containing your score, maturity level, and responses — with no name, email, or any identifying information attached
  • This lets us understand aggregate AI maturity trends across New Zealand businesses

No email address is required to complete the benchmark. The anonymous event data cannot be traced back to you individually.

3. Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you visit:

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, click patterns, referral source
  • Device Information: Browser type, device type, operating system
  • Location Data: General location based on IP address (city/region level, not precise location)
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: See our Cookies section below

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your workshop enquiries and booking requests
  • Provide information about our AI training services
  • Send you relevant information about upcoming workshops and AI insights (only if you opt in)
  • Improve our website and services based on usage patterns
  • Analyse AI maturity trends across New Zealand businesses (in aggregate, anonymously)
  • Comply with legal obligations

We will never: Sell your personal information to third parties or use it for purposes unrelated to our AI consulting and training services.

You can opt out by enabling tracking protection in Firefox, Brave, or Safari.
  • Cloudflare Analytics: Our hosting provider collects basic performance metrics and provides security services for all visitors.
